HAPPY early BIRTHDAY, 
Posting this today because I'm going away for the weekend tomorrow and I'm not sure if I'll have time to get on dA before I leave, let alone upload a picture.
Cerulean's birthday isn't until Sunday, the day I should be getting back, but I just wanted to make sure that something didn't come up where I wouldn't be able to post this. 
This is Cerulean's OC, Summer!
Isn't she pretty? I think her design is simple but lovely! Although just for this picture I changed her shoes a little bit. Because I'm horrible at drawing feet in sandals. Sorry. 
Speaking of which, I realize that her feet are a little too small. >_< I tried to edit it in Photoshop to make it look better, but I don't think it made THAT much difference.
Some random flowers in the background. I'm horrible at drawing them on my own, so I used a book my uncle gave my sister and I about drawing wildflowers for help.
I also realized when I was almost done sketching this that it's kind of similar to that picture of Kairi and Namine that I recently drew. That was so not on purpose.

AHEM, anyways...the details of this picture is astounding!
And I truly love the deep blue you used for the background. It really ties the different subjects together and adds to the playful atmosphere.
I think you have a nice knack for flowers, I swear! 8D I've always kept that in the back of my mind. Like that reference of Tulla? Well the color palette roses that you made from the rose on her hair was awesome! I honestly thought you got those roses from an art program or whatever, not made them yourself... They looked so good. XD
