"I'm not a child," a teenager mumbled angrily to himself, kicking some pebbles down the street as he walked.
There was nothing that made his blood boil more than hearing his older friends tell him that he was too young to go on the same "dangerous" missions they did. Well, perhaps they hadn't said it just like that, but that was what they had been thinking, the boy was sure of that.
His spiky blond hair moved with the wind as he moved through the blustery streets of Twilight Town. The walk had started with the intention of being able to clear his head from the frustration that resulted from being told what he could and couldn't do by his fr

My Rival and Me Chapter 5
"To WHAT?" Was Jet's quick and panicked reply after Splash commanded him to hang on to the sliding cart.
The frog looked around frantically, looking for a way out of their predicament. Robots behind them, and in front of them, not to mention the fact that you couldn't even see the ground below the airship through the clouds.
Then, lo and behold...
Jet saved their skins.
With one quick move the hawk probably did the most heroic thing he had ever done, or would ever do, in his young life. Sliding off the cart as they wheeled past a swing-open door labeled "Broom closet" he pulled the door open and grabbed the largest broom among the cleanin

Prologue
The time had come. After months of planning and study Shadow was ready. His plans included manipulating Chaos, to travel back in time, instead of freezing it.
Going back in time would let him save so much. Save the space colony, save the doctor, but most importantly, it would save her.
Not that he cared so much about the well-being of all, but if ARK where restored his life would go to as it once was. Spending endless hours doing nothing in particular with the only person he'd ever cared to spend so much time with.
"I'm coming, Maria." He said to himself, all alone in a old area in the Mystic Ruins.

Never Suspect The Cute One
Chapter One
"All done, Cheese!" Cream explained to her chao.
"Chao chao!" He happily chirped as he carried the full dustpan to the nearest trash can.
Cream propped the broom she'd been holding on the wall. She and Cheese had been spending the morning cleaning Tails' workshop for him. It wasn't anything uncommon, Cream didn't have much else to do during the Summer time.
The rabbit sat down on one of the many worktables. Next to her, Tails tinkered with a part of the Tornado that had quit working.
"Thanks again, Cream, I-"
"CHAO CHAO!"
"Oh, sorry. Thank you Cream AND Cheese." Began Tails. "I don't know wh

“Haruhi!”
Oh, no. What did he want this time? Haruhi knew she should have started running once she had left the school grounds. Something deep inside of her had known that he was going to find a reason to come with her. He'd probably bring the rest of the Host Club too, throwing the rest of her day into chaos in the process.
The brunette sighed and watched her breath turn into a small cloud of fog before her. She clutched her jacket tightly at the ends of the sleeves, as if it would ward away the cool October air. Then she stopped, but did not turn around, as she waited for her friend to catch up with her.

The day when it all began was just like any other to them. Two children of about ten years, a boy and a girl, sat quietly in the park on an early winter afternoon. The girl had short hair with an unusual lavender color to it, and even more peculiar ruby-red eyes, the left of which was covered by her long bangs. She sat on the only unbroken swing in the old park, and sitting at her feet was the boy, a blond with shimmering blue eyes and a never ending enthusiasm for life.
A crisp breeze blew across the park, causing the girl to clutch her winter jacket tightly around her small body, but the boy just smiled and looked up at her.
"Isn't it a b
"Fluffy nonsense, that's all this is," The sound of the young female's mumbling rang throughout the empty halls of The Castle That Never Was. Finishing a mission early should have been a nice thing, since it gave her the Grey Area and practically the whole castle to herself, but there wasn't anything to do in that blasted place.
"All of what is, Larxene?"
The young woman looked up from her book and resisted the urge to hiss at the newcomer.
Axel.
His very presence grated on her easily agitated nerves, and now he was probably going to mock her for talking to herself. Larxene wasn't completely sure what it was about him that she detested s

The sounds of leaves crunching beneath her tall black boots caused the young woman to pull her gaze away from the dark sky and back onto the path she traveled. Physically, she had the appearance of roughly fourteen years old, but fortunately she was not wandering alone at such an age. By her side was a tall and silver-haired boy of nearly sixteen years. Even though the boy was so different from herself, take the fact that he was actually meant to exist for example, she was very grateful to have him by her side, despite the fact that his presence was like a constant reminder of her grim situation.

"It's so cold out here!" A young gray squirrel shivered as she untied her pale blue hoodie from around her waist and slid it over her head, pulling some of her chartreuse hair from a tightly pulled ponytail in the process.
"Welcome to October, Clipsy. The rest of us got here a few weeks ago," her friend, a hybrid between a cat and a fox called a kat, replied. The sixteen-year-old had been wearing a light winter coat since the two had begun their walk that evening.
"Sabrina, why does it have to be cold right before Halloween every year?" Clipsy complained, the noise of her boots drumming a constant rhythm on the sidewalk as she skipped along
"You don't talk much, do you?"
With this question he finally managed to get her attention. All afternoon he'd been there, coming up with something new to ask her every time she walked by. Naturally, since the teenage girl was busy she wasn't going to stop and chat with him, but it still seemed a little rude for her to completely ignore him. Once the blond boy finally pointed out the one thing everyone else had realized long ago, she looked up from her current job.
"No."
Short and simple, that was the way she liked to converse with people, and only then if it was absolutely necessary. Besides that, it was hardly appropriate for her to be sp
"Roxas is light. I know that because Sora is light as well." Naminé said quietly to herself. She only did this because she sometimes liked to hear someone speak while she was busy at her work, restoring Sora's memories. A tall man, dressed in red, stood nearby, but he wasn't listening and said nothing to the girl. The man, called DiZ by his acquaintances, was remaining by her side for the final days of the memory restoration process, Naminé assumed this was because he didn't trust her not to make a fatal mistake when awakening the Keyblade Wielder. Even though everything was in place for the event now, thanks to Riku they even had h

The well-timed beat of the music seemed to rock the entire house back and forth, everyone in the place swinging to the rhythm.
In the corner, a baby blue cat loudly played on a drum set, only adding to the noise level. Next to her, a younger pastel pink hedgehog was "rocking out" with her brand new guitar. The bright disco lights shone off her name, Star, written in gold lettering on the side of the instrument.
An ebony and crimson hedgehog looked on and shook his head, as if mourning the lack of brain-cells in young people today. In fact, he realized as he threw an empty soda can in the garbage, he didn't really li
"Then I did as Marluxia told me and erased his memories of me, and I've still never given him the letter I wrote him. I wish I could tell you it made me sad, but you'd probably just agree with the rest of them...I can't really feel..." The young girl trailed off and brushed a lock of pale blond hair out of her eyes as she looked up.
The pure brightness of the white room she sat in would have nearly blinded anyone who wasn't used to it, but she had never really lived in a world of color.
"Thank you." She smiled at the receiver of these words. "You listen to me better than anyone else. Somehow, I knew we'd always be friends."
"You can hear m
